Exercise Your Brain - Go Back to School

I was a pretty good student in high school and college, but I had one failure in my senior year of high school. I had to drop out of Introduction to Calculus. Somehow I got my Bachelor's degree and an MBA without it, but that had always bothered me. I recently found a truly amazing site to go back to school and try calculus again.

It's called Khan Academy at www.khanacademy.org It has over 3,000 lessons on all sorts of topics in Math, Science, Finance and Economics and the Humanities. The lessons are all 8 to 10 minute YouTube videos done by a professional teacher. They're easy to follow and if you're a student with an account, it keeps track of everything you have done and suggests next lessons.

I started with Introduction to Calculus and realized why I originally dropped out. I've gone back to some basic algebra that was long forgotten. A 10 minute video on Functions, for example, really exercises my 66 year old brain.

How much does Khan Academy cost? Nothing - it's all FREE!
